ATMOSPHERE 5/5
Step into Europe and enjoy this restaurant, bakery, and honorary coffee house. Sit outside and image yourself transported across the sea to a Danish culinary paradise. Once seated, you’ll be greeted with a delicious pastry to wet your taste buds. Choose to indulge the sweet and tempting breakfast options, delight your senses with savory brunch, or simply sit and sip a delicious coffee creation. Whatever your choice, you can’t go wrong by spending time at Andersens.
COFFEE 5/5
Andersen’s has their own custom blend of coffee that’s worthy of it’s own coffee chain. It’s smooth, rich, and full-flavored. They also offer a full selection of European inspired espresso drinks, dutch cocoa, and iced options. You should spend plenty afternoons sampling this menu.
OTHER OFFERINGS 5/5
The menu is worthy of your time (and money) at all times of the day. Andersen’s is Cherie’s favorite brunch location, with a scrumptious Croissant French Toast creation. Their menu has obvious Dutch influences, from schnitzel to goulasch. Bryan strongly recommends the Hakkeboef.
The pastry offerings could fill an entire blogsphere on their own. These handcrafted bits of heaven are not for those attempting to shave pounds through the ketogenic diet. If you are visiting on vacation, sample everything! There are cakes, custard-filled creations, pies, pastries, pastries, and pastries!
WORKABILITY
This feels more like a great date place than a location to hunker down and get work done. There are plenty of other options in the area, such as the French Press across the street, that are better suited for your mobile office.
DATE PLACE 5/5
Yes. Very much yes. Especially if you sit outside on a beautiful sunny day.
