Coffee Emporium (part 1)

January 7, 2018 Cincinnati, OH

The Coffee house so impressive, it needs two blog posts.

Cherie’s favorite coffee place in Cincinnati, possibly her favorite (so far) in the country, is Coffee Emporium. Of course we had to visit.

This local chain advertises having “Really Good Coffee” and they are not wrong. The coffee and baked goods are made in their warehouse, delivered daily to each location, and bring smiles to loyal patrons.

Atmosphere 4.5/5

My first experience was in OTR (Over The Rhine), and the first word that comes to mind is “spacious”. It’s huge for a coffee shop, yet somehow manages to feel as homey and comforting as a smaller coffee house would. The staff is incredibly friendly, the baked good selection impressive and tasty, the coffee selections out of this world.

Coffee 4/5

Really Good Coffee. Locally roasted. Locally deliver. Locally tasty.

Try the Bumble Bee with a Buzz!

Other Offerings 5/5

Baked Goods, Snacks, Nuts, Sandwiches, Real Food, and all of it is locally made, high quality, and quite tasty. They even have a takeaway menu. This is a must-visit if you find yourself in downtown Cincinnati.

Workability 5/5

Power outlets abound, free wifi, plenty of room to spread out and make your own coffee-infused office

Date Appropriate 4/5

This would be a great place for a first date or a fifth date. It’s got a great vibe, couches to sit in, but they are open space without a true intimate feel. You probably want the first date to be at the original Hyde Park location (next blog post)
